The Story
A time capsule of slower days, The Rapture Vase is hand-built from recycled paper pulp and transformed into a sculptural ode to 90s childhood. Its exterior bursts with playful nostalgia: a Pizza Hut Land Before Time puppet perches beside an Alligator Dentist game, a stackhat helmet balances precariously, and familiar cartoons watch over the scene. Even the digital ghosts of the era appear - Clippy from Microsoft Office and the iconic Explorer icon serve as subtle reminders of early tech fascination and the magic of a simpler, slower-paced world.
Every curve of the vase carries intention, each hand-painted detail capturing a memory, a story, a sensation of curiosity and delight. It is tactile, intimate, and immersive - a celebration of childhood wonder distilled into sculptural form.
Placed as a centrepiece or a quiet shrine to nostalgia, The Rapture Vase is more than decoration: it is a portal to memory, a reflection on the joys of slow discovery, and a reminder that even the smallest objects can hold the richest stories.
